Discover the Power of Sound Healing
Sound is part of our everyday life. It has a natural way of reaching places that words sometimes cannot. A gentle tone, a steady rhythm, or the pure vibration of a tuning fork can help the body soften, the mind quieten, and the nervous system begin to settle.
At Soul Tuning, sound healing is offered as a calm and supportive space to rest, release tension, and reconnect with yourself. Using tuning forks and intuitive energy work, each session is guided gently to support balance in the body, mind and energy system.
How Sound Supports Healing
Sound is vibration, and the body naturally responds to vibration. The tones of tuning forks help your system move out of stress and into a calmer, more regulated state.
Many people find sound healing supportive when they are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally heavy, disconnected, tired, or in need of deep rest.
Rather than needing to talk through everything, you are invited to simply lie down, receive, and allow the sound to meet you where you are.
A Holistic Approach
Sound healing works beautifully alongside meditation, EFT, breathwork and energy healing. It can be woven into a wider healing session, offering another layer of support through sound, vibration and stillness.
Each session is shaped around what feels most supportive in the moment. You may come simply to rest, to reconnect with yourself, or to bring gentle awareness to areas where you feel heavy, tense or out of balance.
This approach allows space for the physical, emotional and
energetic parts of you to be met with care, without needing to force, explain or work everything out.
In-person sessions are available from a calm, welcoming space at The Health and Wellness Hub in Cardiff. Online sessions and home visits are also available where suitable.

Tuning Fork Support for the Biofield & Chakras
Alongside the physical body, we also have an energetic system that can be gently supported with sound, vibration and intention.
In sound healing, we work with the biofield and the chakra system as a way of supporting balance, grounding and emotional wellbeing.
The biofield, sometimes referred to as the aura, can be understood as the subtle field of energy around and within the body. It reflects how we are feeling physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
The chakra system includes seven main energy centres along the spine, each connected with different aspects of our wellbeing, such as grounding, confidence, expression, love, clarity and connection.
When we feel stressed, overwhelmed or emotionally heavy, our energy may feel unsettled, blocked or out of balance. Tuning forks use gentle sound and vibration to support the body and energy system, helping to bring awareness, spaciousness and gentle movement where it may be needed.
This gentle work may be supportive if you are experiencing:
-
Emotional heaviness or mood swings
-
Mental fog or lack of clarity
-
Physical tension or ongoing discomfort
-
Feeling disconnected from your body or intuition
-
Blocked creativity or low motivation
-
Difficulty expressing yourself or setting boundaries
Rather than forcing change, tuning fork sound healing offers the body a calm and supportive space to soften, settle and return to a greater sense of balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What might I feel during a sound healing session?
People often notice gentle vibrations, warmth, or a sense of quiet. Some feel sleepy; others feel refreshed.
Can sound healing help with emotional stress or overwhelm?
Yes. The vibrations from tuning forks can help calm the nervous system and ease emotional tension. Many people find it supportive during times of stress, transition, or emotional heaviness.
Do you work with chakras?
Yes, I gently work with the chakra energy centres using sound and intention. Tuning forks help bring balance and harmony to each area, supporting your overall well-being.
Do the forks touch the body?
The tuning forks can be used both on and off the body. Sometimes they’re lightly placed on specific points to help ground the vibration; other times, they’re held just above the body to gently balance the energy field. We’ll choose what feels best for you.
Do I need to do anything during the session?
No. You’re welcome to simply rest and receive. There’s no effort required, just a gentle invitation to be present with whatever arises.
Is sound healing safe if I’m sensitive to noise or vibration?
Yes. We keep everything very gentle and can adjust the volume, placement, or distance of the forks. Your comfort and sense of safety guide the session.
Can sound healing be combined with other modalities?
Yes. Sound healing often blends beautifully with EFT or energy work. We’ll shape the session intuitively based on what feels most
supportive for you.
What should I wear for a sound healing session?
Wear whatever helps you feel relaxed, warm, and at ease in your body. Soft, loose-fitting layers are ideal — especially in winter,
when warmth and comfort are essential. Think breathable fabrics, cosy socks, and a jumper or shawl that feels nurturing.
You’ll be lying down or sitting quietly, so comfort matters more than appearance. And don’t worry, a soft blanket will be
provided to help you feel held and supported throughout the session. This is a space where emotional safety begins with
physical ease.
Can sound healing work remotely?
Yes. Sound healing can be offered remotely through intention, resonance, and energetic connection. While you won’t hear the
tuning forks directly, their vibration is directed toward your energy field with care and attunement. Many people feel warmth,
spaciousness, or gentle shifts, even at a distance. You’re welcome to rest quietly, and I’ll guide the session just as I would in
person.
Are there times when sound healing might not be suitable?
Sound healing is generally very gentle, but there are a few situations where extra care is needed. If you have a pacemaker, metal
implants, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy, please let me know before we begin. We’ll adjust the session or choose other
modalities to ensure your safety and comfort.
Session Rhythm & Aftercare
How many sessions might I need?
Every person is different. Some feel shifts after one session; others find that a short series, such as three, helps changes settle
in gently. You’re welcome to go at your own pace, and we can revisit what feels supportive as we go.
Do I need to be sick to receive sound healing?
Not at all. Sound healing can also be a gentle wellbeing practice — a way to keep your system supported before stress builds.
Chronic stress can affect how we feel physically, emotionally and energetically. Sound healing can be a gentle way to support
relaxation, nervous system balance and a greater sense of ease. It engages your parasympathetic nervous system, the part of
you that knows how to rest, repair, and restore. This is where your body does its quiet housekeeping, emotional integration,
and energetic balancing. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit. You just need space to breathe, soften, and return.
Is sound healing suitable during times of grief or transition?
Yes. Sound healing can offer quiet support during tender times, helping you feel held, grounded, and gently reconnected to
yourself. There’s no need to explain or process everything; the sound meets you where you are.
Do I stay fully clothed during sessions?
Yes. All sessions - whether sound healing or energy work - are done fully clothed. You’re welcome to wear comfortable clothing
that helps you feel relaxed and at ease. If we use tuning forks or gentle touch, it’s always with your consent and over clothing.
What might I feel after a session?
Common experiences include warmth, tingling, emotional release, or deep rest. Some people feel lighter, clearer, or more
grounded. Others may feel tender, sleepy, or notice temporary energetic responses, such as tearfulness, vivid dreams, or
digestive shifts. These are often signs that the system is integrating and recalibrating.
Is there anything I should or shouldn’t do afterward?
After a session, it can be helpful to give yourself some gentle space. You may want to drink water, rest, journal, take a quiet
walk or avoid rushing straight back into anything demanding if possible. It's best to avoid alcohol, caffeine, or intense
stimulation if possible as your system may be adjusting, and gentle is best.
Can I reach out between sessions?
Yes. If anything feels unclear or you'd like support, you're welcome to get in touch.
